Dough (Northbridge)
A quick and hearty dinner was what we were after when we visited Dough in Northbridge late last month. This well styled restaurant was a treat to the eyes as well as the taste buds!

Parmigiana ($21)
Margherita, crumbled Italian sausage, sauté eggplant. This was quite a salty pizza. the eggplant was nicely cooked through, but not soggy. With the Italian sausage providing a nice amount of spice to the dish.

Cinderella ($22)
Bianca, grilled pumpkin, asiago, cherry tomatoes and fresh rocket. This was my favourite of the two. I really liked the freshness of the cherry tomatoes and rocket, against the sweetness of the pumpkin. this was a winner.

Crocchetta ($12)
The Crocchetta were quite tasty, crispy and with nice melty cheese. But at $12 they were hardly as big as we expected, and seemed a bit of a waste of money.

Sweet Ricotta Calzone ($12)
Folded pizza dough filled with sweet honey infused ricotta, with sliced pear, served with vanilla ice cream. This dessert pizza was really quite sweet, but I really liked the ricotta cheese, it was great and creamy.

Nutella Calzone ($12)
Folded pizza dough filled with chocolate and walnuts served with vanilla Ice cream. I didn’t try this one, warm nuttella is really not my thing. I’m not sure about these pizzas being made calzone style. The dough was difficult to cut, and the fillings squished out all over the place making it harder to eat than if it has just simply been a normal pizza.
I’ll be back to sample some more of their range soon!
The Good: Great atmosphere, yummy pizzas.
The Bad: Overly expensive extras.
The Money: If you stick to the pizzas, Dough is a winner for better than you average quality, quick pizza.
